Buying vision means agreeing on definitions first.
Terms to agree

| Pose | Position and orientation of a part |
| Pick point | The point on the part the robot should grip |
| Field of view | The area the camera covers |
| Repeatability | Consistency of repeated detection |
Getting it right
- Agree which definition of pose the vision system reports.
- Re-calibrate after tooling or camera changes.
- Test detection at the edges of the field of view.
Vision performance depends on lighting and part presentation. Validate with production parts.
